Edmonton lose to Carolina in game 7

Unfortunately I won’t be buying a commemorative jersey this year like I’d promised myself, as the Edmonton Oilers lost game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to the Carolina Hurricanes. Such is life. Amazing they got this far, because they only just squeezed into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth.

I’d like to issue the “there’s always next year” mating call of the loser, but I have my doubts they’ll get this far next year.
