Welcome to the Thunderdome

Due to the incompetence of my previous web hosting company, I’ve had migrate all the web sites and emails to a new web host. My own web sites have been a lower priority, but finally I’ve moved about 16 GB of my own files over and things are looking good so far. A couple niggling errors, though nothing fatal.

Metallica night at the Sharks

So I attended the San Jose Sharks v LA Kings game last night. It was Metallica night! The Sharks’ theme song is Seek and Destroy by Metallica, and the bad were there doing interviews and giving away t-shirts. One cool thing is I got to see the Sharks 5000th franchise goal, and they won 4-2.

I like photospheres

I want to start doing more of these. Here’s one I did from the Tree Top Walk in Tingdale.

You can submit them for inclusion on Google Map Views natively right from Android which is cool, or just share them with friends and family on Google Plus.

This one I did of the Cathedral was the first I tried and not that good, and I only just submitted it last night. But still, it has some value.

This one at Canal Rocks turned out a lot better. You just need to learn to turn yourself around the camera, rather than the camera around yourself. That, and find a way to not photograph your own feet.
