Due to the incompetence of my previous web hosting company, I’ve had migrate all the web sites and emails to a new web host. My own web sites have been a lower priority, but finally I’ve moved about 16 GB of my own files over and things are looking good so far. A couple niggling errors, though nothing fatal.
I could have spent days at this place, but I only had one day in Washington DC and there was so much to see like the White House, Congress, Washington Monument etc.
This photo so far has more than 100,000 views on Google Maps since I added it in October.
The 2015 Festival of Perth starts this weekend. It’s being opened by the Journey of the Giants.
They took the Giants out early for a stroll.
I had the opportunity to go to Philadelphia for a work trip and took some photosphere pictures that worked out quite nicely. It’s a great museum with interactive science and art displays for all ages.
I want to start doing more of these. Here’s one I did from the Tree Top Walk in Tingdale.
You can submit them for inclusion on Google Map Views natively right from Android which is cool, or just share them with friends and family on Google Plus.
This one I did of the Cathedral was the first I tried and not that good, and I only just submitted it last night. But still, it has some value.
This one at Canal Rocks turned out a lot better. You just need to learn to turn yourself around the camera, rather than the camera around yourself. That, and find a way to not photograph your own feet.
